Yep yep...It's my birthday today..makes not mucha difference actually. I was supposed to spend it in camp, but thanks to God, I managed to spend nearly 3/4 of it at home. Sleeping. Haha...

Last week was pretty ok.
Monday was pretty slack, cause we were using it to settle all our admin stuff in preparation for our field camp.

Tuesday morning was a rush...woke up real early. Got ready, painted faces and then we were off...the first day of outfield, it was pretty ok. We did in practical what we learnt in theory. And I admit, somethings are pretty hard. Got a damn heat rash already...the night thing was hell for me..first it hurt like hell, and the back itched like mad...next time round I am bringing alot of powder out...keep myself dry...damn...the night thing had a bad outcome though...people went missing...darn....

Wednesday was the test day...we had to carry out tests on what we did
practically...managed to pass all. Thank God...We did a night thing again and this time with more of a challange. But we managed to clear it too...hee hee

Thursday was the last day of the camp. We played with some things. Or rather, some of them managed to play with the stuff.. yellow puff and "light"sticks..it was fun..then we got to bang off to camp...spent nearly 2 hours cleaning our rifles..and we haven't even fired it off yet...damn....We are gonna spend alot more time cleaning it after our next field camp this week...Found out I passed my IPPT but failed my SOC by 2 secs..hahahaha

Friday. Those who failed IPPT had to retake. The rest, it was admin time...basically we slacked in bunk getting ready to book out. This week, we could book out friday and back in monday. Thanks to some other platoon, they screwed up the book in/out book..so we had to stay for another hour+. Met my dad for dinner at changi village since it was near my camp. Oh yah, Dad bought me ice cream..hahaha..Like a small kid eh..

Saturday..was supposed to go to church, but me overslept again..that keeps happening nowdays. Spent nearly the whole day sleeping..

Sunday. Went to church with my parents. Bought alot of stuff. Namely powder to bring back to camp. At night, we went out for my birthday dinner. Cut the cake and stuff. Yeah yeah..I spend my birthdays alone..any girl wanna volunteer to go out with me to make it up?

Monday. Went to SAFTI MI for the army open house..it was a basic waste of our time. Go there and come back..boring. Bought macs for lunch with rocky road ice cream..Hey..I got a 13 day field camp coming up..I wanna indulge myself...Slept again...now it's 1650hrs. Dad coming back to pick me up to go back to camp. Guess I am very fortunate. I guess tonight back at camp we will spend it getting our equipment ready for tommorow. Won't be back till the 18th or so I guess. Heatrash, prickly heat, foot rot, fungal infection. You name it...damn..ANd my friend said his platoon mate heard "something" in the place where I am going. I pray God will carry me through this one. I'll let you know how it goes
